8310 security code?

Hi i have a problem with my 8310 its asking for security code i have tried as many passwords etc as i can remember and tried the 12345=00000 etc with no luck i've now bought a data cable to try and reset the code but i have no software with the cable whats the software i should use and where from?whats the difference in fbus mbus? also the data cable i have have plugs into the back of the phone it has a switch on the side of it f=m what is this for? cheers for any info

fbus and mbus are two modes of communication. manual-switch f/mbus like you have is the optimal cable for eveyrthing.
