Can't unlock a 3510

Hi,
I am trying (and failing) to unlock my daughter's 3510. Details are:
Currently on O2 contract, bought from E2save.com. When I try another SIM card in it (I've tried several) the phone locks up, and will not work, even with the original SIM card. After about 30 minutes, it operates fine with the original SIM card. E2Save have confirmed that the phone is locked to the SIM card.

I've tried several of the online code generators, all of which gave me the following codes, but when I tried code 7 and code 1 I got a Code Error message on both. Am I getting the wrong codes or am I doing somthing else wrong?

IMEI - 350986208876512
Service provider - O2 (UK)
code 7 - #pw+279145603753743+7#
code 1 - #pw+215265242344560+1#

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

The codes are definatly right m8.

If what u say is rite about this is true then...


E2Save have confirmed that the phone is locked to the SIM card.

They may have locked the SIM to only work in that particular phone and that phone to only work with that particular SIM card.

What's my "pm"?

What are my options now? I've used up 3 of my lives... Should I try the old rev 1 code 7? What do I do once the phone freezes? Presumably I need to perform a hardware unlock...what does the hardware cost or should I just send the phone away to get that done?

This was supposed to be easy:-(

In order to unlock via cable it wud cost u for the cable which u will probably be able to get quite cheap. U will be able to get sw free of net.

The freezing may be a software fault so it would need a reflash. In order to reflash it U would have to buy a flasher which if U r only going to flash one or two phones isn't worth it and u r bettr of getting it done by sum1 else who has a flasher.
