Hey everyone - I would like to know whether anyone has successfully unlocked a 3100 on Cincinnati Bell Wireless? Crashynot was very kind and tried to help me with 2 different codes, but neither worked. My first attempt was with a code generated from another piece of software so I've used up 3 of my 5 tries.

Cheers.

OK I tried my 4th code tonight using another software code generator and the numerical network code that I found from another source (2 actually)... that code was listed at 310000 (which is used by several ATT affiliates as far as I could tell, but is not ATT itself). Still no luck and now I've got 1 shot left. For the record I'm tring code #1 because that's what is used from what I've been told/read.

I'm still hoping that someone can offer up good news, but in the meantime I'd like to plan for the worst and get the appropriate cable. I already have a DKU-5 (non-original Nokia... USB version), but I get the feeling that I'm going to need something else. If someone could give me some good leads I would appreciate it.

Cheers.

I just unlocked mine. I used CyberGSM's calculator, although I'd imagine any will work. The key is knowing the correct network code for CBW:

31042000

Using that network code and your IMEI, you should have no problems. I used code #1 and it worked on the 1st try.
