anyone know why my phone can connect to my PC. When it try to connect it said. something about wireless link interrrupted and "your links is either blocked or the device is out of range." but everything is still in place. It just can't connect.

What kind of IRDA connection are you using? I have a Sigmatel USB to IRDA adapted which needed to be tweaked. To into the device manager, locate your IRDA adapter, look at the properties and adjust the advanced settings. I had to try all of the modes for mine to work.

I had to change the driver from the default one to make it work....found it hidden under "network" on my pc (win98) in control panel..click on "properties" then "advanced" tab and it's there..mines set at vishay 6101e which works with my 8210,8310 and 7210 !
