can we edit genolitev2 in hexworkshop or any other soft for us to discard some 5e0's? like limiting the 5e0's generation of FADE IN, FADE OUT, VIBRA, etc...so that we can make use of these freed up 5e0 ID's to other patches. it seems 5e0 ID's generation is becoming critical nowadays given the many patches available.

i think 5e0 table can go up to 0xFFFF, so i dont think you have a 5e0 limit problem, right.

can anyone confirm this?

As far as I know, it can go up to 0xFFFF as u mentioned..

But the main problem here is that patched ID's larger than 0xFF doesn't work properly, i.e. id 0x102 shows "Opening Message" when used in a menu...!

Dunno if i'm the only one facin this prob, but it seems that he has it too...?

yep...after FF the next value higher is 100 and we know the effect when it become 3 digits...maybe somebody knows a workaround.

For me also, after the 5e0 value is bigger then FF, it bugs.
Checked on 3310 v 6.07, with different patches.

Maybe u should edit the 5e0 table manually to exclude entries u don't need. There was somewhere NokDoc's reply on how to find the 5e0tables in flash.
