Everytime i put in an unlock code i get a "Not Allowed" message can i not unlock my phone?

it seems you tried too much.Now your phone is blocked and u need a cable for unlock.

can i just get a data cable and some software to unlock it? if so what kind of software?

I was checking around the net and it looks like i need one of those flash boxes to unlock it with a cable and i can't afford somethign like that is there anywhere i can go that they would unlock it for me?

there are people who do it for cheap.. private repair labs for example.. you can try to find one in your area.. the price will be about 5-10 euro..

if you can't find one, your provider may unlock it for you... that is not cheap, but cheaper than a flash box.

yeah, something like that..

if someone has a repair shop, he must have flashing equipment, and he will flash your phone for a low price. the operators charge high prices, because if you unlock the phone you can change to another network which is their loss.

Thanks just one last question. do you possibly know if the 3650 will work with cingular? i've seen alot of people having problems with it and cingular only sells the 3600. thanks

yes, 3650 will work.. at least - according to the specifications..
