This release is from an Nokiaserver.
But now there is no Changelog :sad:

Mr. Crux,

U are gonna tell Us!

U open some earlier file version in a hexviewer.

U will search something in the end area of the MCU, eg the textstring 'DUMFILE'.

For all versions, U write down the starting address from where U found the 1st occurance.

Now compare this with the address in this new file.

If it is not been used before, please tell Us the news, while U found out it's a true new flash version.

I tried the flash-one thing i noticed:it allows up to 50 SMS to be able to store(i have BlackCard with Simemu6.01)

I hope the patches will work on v6.33,then i will rebuild my MOD.
Please post your observations,bugs,etc...

I've downloaded this version like full backup and get into my 3310 and it is work fine. After that I wanted to change PPM /D pack also downloaded from internet. I've started adress from 00330000-XXXXXX
loading past fine but phone want power up. Somebody knows what is right adress? Or I made some other mistake?

combine first the MCU and PPM before flashing, the calculate FAID,
or else, you'll get dead phone if you flash only the PPM or the MCU...

I've done it already! First of all I've uploaded on ver. 4.07 MCU 6.33 and after that PPM 6.33. Phone not power on! After that I've uploaded fullbackup 6.33 and everthing was OK (after update FAID and new IMEI).
after all I've uploaded PPM 6.33 /D version (for croatian/serbian language) from 00330000 and phone is become dead

I think 3310-633 ppm should be written to 34.0000!

Reflash both the mcu & new ppm again, and set the faid.

Ps, on factory flash files, U NOT need to recalc the checksum.

Is anybody experiencing this?:
i patched this virgin v6.33 with AnykeyAnswer,MinuteBeep,Guard,then i created menus,then flashed to phone.I made Full Factory and software reset.When i entered these menus,in the settings(on/off) appeared a part of a game bitmap.Everything is working(i think) except that error.I created that menu after Netmonitor.
New virgin EEPROM,resets doesnt take effect.

Hello again! I've tried to flash PPM from 00340000-xxxxxxxxx and got CONTACT SERVICE. After that I've tried to make FAID, SFR, change both IMEI (with Jordik Nokia Tool, Knox Phoneix and Rollis Flasher) and other possibilities which these programs has. Everything gone OK, but still has CONTACT SERVICE.
Maybe still not good adress for PPM?
One thing is wired, cause I've uploaded PPM /D version, but Jordik Tool show me that is N version inside!
Somebody knows better software for remove contact service or

Hi again,

It is the 33.0000 to 34.0000 wtsla > dejan conversion bug.

Ur converted file is only 13.0000 big, therefore the area between 33.0000 and 34.0000 will not be flashed.

Calcs inside Ur new file are based on the data to be all FF's there.

But since U not flashed it, it may contain other values, resulting in CS.

Try to erase the data in the phone 1st.

Then flash this new mcu and ppm and own eeprom area, followed by setting the faid.

I've tried all those things which you told me but no success! I'm still thing that is problem in right adress for PPM.

Hi,

1st, make Ur phone working again with Ur own backup.

Then unzip and flash this to address 20.0000, the default address Rolis gives U.

It is a full flash file, with the mcu, ppm and checks at the right places.

Then quick set the Faid, I use knok for that.

Hi,

I've experienced some problems when upgrading to v6.33
I have a 3330 which I conversed to 3315
version 6.07 worked perfectly

Now I've tried 6.33 (using twice the 3310 flash file to get 4MB flash method)
the 3310_4Mb_MCU.nrx method appeared not to work for me:(

I've never been able to use a virgin eeprom either, I can reset the phone and change imei, so that the contact service error disappeares, but my phone doesn't want to connect to the network then.

In the past I have solved this by using an eeprom from a 3315 FUBU I have found, and with this eeprom I could get my 3330 to 3315 conversions working, including 6.33 now.

But with 6.33 I experience some sim toolkit problems, I can browse it, but if I try to call a number that my provider has put in the toolkit, I get a "write sms message" like box with "123#" on top.
I have tried this with a clean version but with faid & mcu kill.

In 6.07 I could dial numbers through sim toolkit however.

Is someone else experiencing this problem?
Or can someone send me a working 3310/15 6.33 FUBU

but after flashing the phone display sim card not accepted
any solution ???

some time the phone show menu but no network. i cant update faid
