8250 work w/ T-Mobile???

Hi, would the Nokia 8250 work with T-Mobile or other GSM service provider in US?

The 8250 has dual band 900&1800

I would say no...

simply because only tri-band phones can work in the US and the UK... so dual-band phones (900 and 1800) will not work as this is standard for phones available in the UK.

I could be wrong though, but I'm pretty sure I'm right (for once :p)

Nope. T-Mobile (US) uses gsm1900 and other US provider uses gsm850.

So does that mean the GSM in US is either 1900 or 850?
