unlock orange 3310

i am trying to get an 02 sim card to work in a nokia 3310e,any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.do i need any equipment ie cables etc

You can unlock 3310 with mbus/fbus cable and free software, I use noktools myself as well as other freeware. just look for links. the cable can be bought in uk for about a tenner.

I did read the post before replying. However, wouldn't you prefer the free option of unlocking (i.e. with codes) rather than paying £10+ for a cable? I know I would and I did. Thats my reasons for directing his attention to the code unlocking thread... no other reason :)

I hope you get your phone sorted as you wish...I only remarked because the tone of your reply was as though poa@karlbartlet had done something wrong ( which they hadn't) for posting here and it didnt seem as though you were offering help for different types of unlocking but rather chastising. I do agree that the calc is a better option but as it hadnt been mentioned we didnt know if it had already been tried so a suggestion of methods of unlocking would have been a more appropriate response.
