How do i unlock the samsung a800?

I have a nokia 3510i that used to be uk virgin but thanks to this site i got a code that let me put in a uk o2 sim card.

My gf has a samsung A800 on uk virgin is there a code like the one i used on my nokia to unlock her phone so that she can put in a o2 sim ?

I have the a800 software and datacable but when I use it, it says unlocked, but when I try a different sim, it doesnt work, says network lock?

If you have put £30 airtime on the sim card. Call Virgin and they will give you the code for free.

hi, the #2767#637* is given on most sites on the net for unlocking a Samsung A800, but when do you enter it?

remove the sim and turn on phone and then enter?

or enter a sim and when it asks for password?

when I enter a SIM which my A800 does not accept it says network lock and asks for a password, however it does not allow me to enter anything other than a number, so no * or #!!!

anyone know something on this please reply!
