a bloke at work had the Orange SPV piece of bab, Micro$haft Smartphone. looked good on the surface, but crashed a couple of times a day. he put up with it for a month and a half, then got it exchanged for a 3300!
i do hope they have updated the OS, cos there will be a lot of unhappy punters out there if not.

I've got windows running on my PC's at home, and thats bad enough, i don't need it on my cellphone aswell ,i'm completly happy with Symbian.. I think it's great!

I've got Windows running too. It's a funny operating system, has a lot of stupid errors. They've been making OS for ages, you'd think that they'd get it right by now.

i hated microsoft.... untill i sat in front of a mac!!! and now i LOVE microsoft! belive me mac is just soooo much worse that windows.... and they say mac works! it gets tons and tons and tons of errors all the time, and suddenly lame thing happens without any logical explanation. no, im happy with windows, but i wouldnt change from symbian to something else either =P

oh for crying out loud! Can this get anymore immature than this? Is the pc windows the same as the phone? If symbian is so great, why do I see many ppl coming into the forum asking for help?

Don't get me wrong, I have an s60 phone and I must agree that there are lots apps and games out there. but can u imagine what happens when business users or perhaps "grown ups" who happens to be looking for deciding factor on which phone to get stumbled upon a thread like this? Just take a look at the other thread and see for yourself. That forum had ppl providing indepts, stating opinions with facts to back it up...

And as for the smartphones with win os, I've just got an mpx200 as well, but I cant make a fair comparison yet because I only started playing with it for a couple of hours. but so far, I can see why this will favor a serious user more. Because all the funtionality suits it better as a business phone. And its easier to navigate and more customisable too.

All you did was just stepping onto my point regarding the maturity issue. And as far as I am concern, I am looking for facts, or atleast opinions with a certain validity and thus brought this whole issue to my attention. Emtional ramblings means nothing and I dont see how anybody could get hurt in the first place? Especially coming from a source that does not see both sides of the coin.
