security code for 5110

hiya peoples

put the codes in the above fone and everything seemed to go ok, put original sim back in (vodafone) no problem, but, put ant other network sim in and the fone asks for security code???? what code is this??? can it be got rid of or bypassed, this problem never occoured whem 3330 or 7510 was unlocked, any help/pointers appreciated

the phone has a security on it, try 12345 this is the nokia default, if it does not work then you need F/M bus cable and logomanager to read code

I fya use logo manager and you enter the security code,and the fone still won't unlock,then leave handset on for 12 hours.Then re enter the code again.This is o.k. if you have no flashing or s/w reset capability.

you can try to read the sec. code with any DCT3 flasher (NokiaTool by Rollis etc.)

Rollis Nokiatool is best v1.9 is the latest for when you search
But logomanager does work also

Help.
My 5110 asks for the security code also and I don't know anything about any 'Logomanger' DCT3 or flashing.

Have tried the 12345 and 54321 also there is another five digit number on the box. But now I'm afraid that I might permanently lock the phone if I keep trying.

Hi,

No worry, no need for cables nowadays, just calculate a mastercode based upon Ur imei number.
