Step 1
Read your flash from u're Phone using Rolis. Read the MCU and PPM image ONLY
and save in a safe place. Make a copy of it aswell.
Step 2
Open your MCU and PPM in Hex Workshop (or right click the file and click edit in Hex) (Do not read the PMM or EEPROM coz dis jst makes fings orquard) and press Ctrl+F or go to find in the edit menu. Find 46C00002FD51250B46C00001FFA70C0B except on 5110 v5.30 where you have to find 46C00002FD51250B46C00001FFA60C0B
Step 3
If it doesn't automaticly go to the position where it is click on the find tab in the bottom right corner (next to compare etc) and the address will show up. Click on it
You can change anything after 46C0 0002 but you can only make the length of the tone as long as the addresses below

Now I'll show you how to insert your tone. You HAVE to convert your tone into .re format. The only way I know how to do this is to use PPM Manager and open your Flash file or use a flash file you don't really want go to Tools => TONE Chunk => Export to Melody Files and then save all u're tones and open the one you want in Hex Workshop.
Or if you want your own tone. Open Flash Tone and open your Flash file click on Mode and select Ring Tone. Go to File and Select Open Tone File and select the rttl tone you want and press open. Click change then save the flash file and do wat I typed above.
Step 4
I'm going to change the startup tone for a 3310 v5.47 as an example
I now have my start address and know wat tone I'm gonna change it to. So what I'm gonna do now is open the .re format tone Freak Mode in Hex Workshop and select the length of tone I need so for 3310 it has to be 0xB0 in length. But according to NFREE the tone ONLY starts on the FIRST 0A 01 so select everything after 0A 01 until Sel: (locted at the bottom left corner. This tells you how many Bytes you've selected or highlited) reads the maximun length of the tone eg 0xB0 for 3310 (you can have a shorted tone if you want). Click on the tab where your flash is and highlight from after 46C0 0002 up to where Sel: Reads how much u copied from the tone and then paste. (Make sure the number of Bytes DIDN'T CHANGE, or you can't flash this to your phone. If they did make sure you highlited the EXACT AMOUNT of bytes as what you copied). Your screen should look like this
Now you need to sort out the tonecause if you managed to fit a whole ringtone in there it will repeat non stop or vibrate FOREVER. Now if you used a full ringtone near the end (Your tone is now everything marked red in the Hex Window) You should see something like 07 0B near the end of the Hex replace this with 0B 0C so that it only plays ONCE.
On the other hand if you have part of a ringtone Replace the last three bytes of u're tone to 0A FE 0B
Now u're done in Hex Workshop Save the Flash file as your flash.fls and open PPM Manager and open your flash file
Step 5
Your phones Deffinetly not gonna work unless u correct PPM CRC's so go to Tools and select "Update All PPM CRC's" The PPM chunk version should no longer have a ! after it. (If PPM Manager doesn't open your flash file you've pasted too much or too little bytes. Go back and check. We don't all do it the first time don't worry)
Now the PPM is corrected you now need to correct MCU Check Sums. Open NFREE and open your Flash File ignore All errors jst press ok
Step 6
The MCU needs to be corrected now so go to Changes and select Correct MCU-Check Sum and save your file. Your now ready to flash
Step 6
Flash the Image to your phone using Rolis (once flashed your phone should turn on but get no reception, If it says contact service flash the original back to your fone and contact me at
[email protected]) and open Knock Phoenix. Connect your M/F Bus lead. Select your phone from the drop down menu in Knock Phoenix
Click on Phone Settings and Quick Set FAID. YOUR ALL DONE Now turn on u're fone if you don't hear anything turn on Warning tones. THANK ME (MADMAN -
