6600 & communicator MMC problem

i have a 6600 & using a 128 MB card , i put my MMc in my communicator yesterday & it said the MMc is corrupted. but since then i have not been able to use my MMC even with my 6600 as it says no MMC present.

even my card reader does not read this card.

i would be thankful if someone can help me find a way to use my MMc again.

does the communicator recognise the mmc? try formatting it wif the comunicator, den format wif 6600?

No i put the MMC in the communicator for the first time & it started after a long time & gave the msg that the card is not usable.

i thought since the card was being used in 6600 before it was not recognised in communicator.

but after that when i put it in the 6600 again it says there is no MMC present.

its a 128 MB Sandisk card.

well, weird, since all the fones and mmc card reader cant read the mmc. if u haf a digicam tt can read mmc, try tt, otherwise, u might haf to replace the mmc for a new one, it might b faulty.

and its a 128 mb, i dun see any reason for it not to work.

Can you tell me if a 256mb mmc would be o.k in the 6600?

yes, got a small list of working mmc in symbians faqs sections too.

it is not the brand it just not formatted right.

Use MMC Medic to reformat it so that it works on every MMC capable device
