running rollis on win98

i have just dual booted my laptop so i can easily flash.
i run rollis (or any other flasher) and try 2 read the fone, but it freezes and doesnt seem 2 connect with the fone at all.
ive checked my LPT addresses and all i can think.

could sum1 assist me plz.

Test your cable with other PC.

i have tested with other pc's. must be a power thing, ive ordered an external power supply. ill post up if still need advice
