mados 3330 full flash

eny one got a link or some thing for the code caculator for a 3330 cos ive tryed embeding it without eny results and would some one make one up without the games and virus crap would be mutch welcome im saying this cos a few folk ive talked to would like the test and crap removed

It's all over the place that MADos can be injected in a 3330 flash but the fact is that so far few people discuss this phone and can't remember reading about a case of success. :confused:

I chalenge anyone that made it to post here the flash... :mad:

All i've seen is a comment in the "compile_all.sh" file about merging into a 4mb memory not being tested :???:

Anyone cares to enlighten this matter?

Ive just compiled a 3330 v4.50 madOS embed for test, everything went fine so theres a good chance of it working... It should be first in the menu if not have a search round :rolleyes:

All the MADos flashes i made using 3330 firmware ended up in freezing and reboot as soon as the MADos menu was selected.
I think the issue here is because of the address where the MADos is embeded. If you read some tuts available in this forum you see that it's mentioned that when using embedem, not only must the file have a reserved space named "CODE" with free space precisely at 0x00140040 but the script must have the following result:

and at MADos site we could read this:

This is an auto generated g3n0lite script if this part is any different you did something wrong and this file will not work! In other words start again.

This is absolutely true when talking about 3310 because i've made dozens of them and all worked except once when i changed something along the way and made the "CODE chunk" a little bit further in the memory adddress. In this case the result was: freeze and reboot


Now, when using a 3330 flash the script you get is this:

What makes me scratch my head is that nobody talks about this and no one mentions a case of success. :-?

My guess is that somehow one must change some address values in order for it to work.
If i could read german i would be going through some post at the german forum where g3ggo usualy talks about this because they probably found out the way around it :sad:

i'm a newbie but i have just flashed nokiaflashusers MADos file onto my 3330. i think you may need to just add additional menu items to complete 3330 flash.
i saved the flash on 3310 under 3330 and then flashed it to 3330 and seemed to work fine but you lose the extra menu's obviously !!!! if someone can get into flash file after saving 3310 file and add menu's will this not do the trick !! let me know what you think..............

I think that what you did was convert your 3330 to 3310 and lose all the extra features that go along with the double sized memory.

All along, that's no more than an ordinary downgrade and geggo told me that it was the only known way to have MADos embed into a 3330 :rolleyes:

or maybe i misunderstood what you meant :-?

yeah suppose it would be just a dowwngrade, but is there no way that you can open file and add additional features once saved as a 3330 file ??? :oops:

No you can't do that because you flash the phone in a way that it only recognizes the 2MB memory and looses the modem capability. So no chance to add the extra menus :sad:

Has anyone managed to find a working flash for the 3330 with the DCT3 and DCT4 calc working?
Please it would mean the world to me as I've got a 3310 with duff buttons and it would be nice to upgrade to the 3330 I've been given. :D

Sorry obviously my post was somewhat confusing.
I currently have a 3310 with Mados with DCT3 and DCT4 calc on it. However the buttons are pretty smegged up.
My father has just upgraded his phone and has given me a 3330 which I want to flash with mados (But NOT standalone so I can use it as a phone) all my attempts to create a working embedded flash of mados have failed and I wanted to know if anyone had managed it, if so could they please upload it so I can use it.

At what starting flash addy's?? I've also noticed that Snake 3 doesn't work on my 3310.
