3310 strange network problem

first of all, thanks for this great forum..
well, that´s my problem: i have a 3310 with contact service. after fullflash, the contact service was fixed, but no network signal...i read all about that on this forum (about update faid, sfr, clear sim locks...) and try all possibilites, but stiils with no signal... a friend my that works with simcards created a copy of their sim card with a virtual TMSI validate in the system network only for test, and the signal works OK...so, is not a hardware problem. With my simcard, i don´t have any signal. i try all metods described in this forum to reset faid, calculate checsum, change IMEI, and nothing works... try nokia tools, knock, jordik software, and nothing works. try various different operators sim cards and stills no signal. My friend think that have some kind of problem with the validation of TMSI to generate signal to phone, and said that some technicals on the provider explain to him that the operator locks the phone, and thats my phone only work if the provider technicals use some kind of software to unlock it :-o . I don´t believe in that. I try several versions of fullflashes, virgin e2proms, several diferent softwares and this phone stills have no signal... any idea????? :-?

its not with the sim but it's in ur hardware.

you mean that when you insert a different sim card to your phone, it has network signal? and with your own sim, it doesn't have?

I have a similar prob with my 3330, I also tried all the FuBu's I find for my phone and version, all combinations of MCU and PPM and Eeprom's...
I quick updated Faid, I reset all, I Update Faid with various progs, I even pray to "HIM" (just bad taste joking sorry).
All I can manage is 9 secs of full and beatifull Full Network sign, after that PUFF.. gone.
I'm no Pro in this matter but it seams to me that the phone, in those 9 secs, isdoing some kind of control... oH!! I forgot to tell....I also tried checksum, kill checksum, etc.
Because the prob seams similar to me I posted here, hope U dont mind. :D

@juizboy:I don´t use "other" simcard, but a special sim made for a friend with a virtual TMSI. It don´t need to negociate authorization to log in the network provider. The problem is with "normal" simcards, like mine. When inserted, the phone just pass searching network all time. This phone was locked to the network provider, cause a post-pay account wasn´t pay. But, if i change the IMEI, the phone have authorization to loggin in the network, but this not. Does no matter if you change IMEI, fix checksum, update faid or something else. So, the provider says to me that if a pay the account, they resolve my problem and unlock my phone in 5 minutes... The question is: How to they made this and how to fix myself???

@FearNoMore: after the test if no message COBBA paralell or serial failed, reheat the HAGAR chip this will do the job..If not reheat CCONT and COBBA chip.../be careful if they are sealed with glue/
@sidarta: make a back up of UR phone, than go here :www.handy-flashpage.tk
download a fubu and flash it to Ur phone ...hum before that run the tests..
and do what I told U if everithing is OK...If fubu dont solve the problem U have a hardware problem..

Sidarta sounds like blocked Imei as provider says they can fix if pay bill.
Fearnomore sounds like power amp (ive had same probs with 6210 and 3410 loverly signal when swiched on then after 9 or 10 second zilch) :smile:

I am a technician. The only thing i can say from my experience is that the PA (power amp) may be damaged.

also once with a 6210 I had the same problem and nothing could resolve it. Using knok, update faid etc. etc.
Until i went into Phone settings-> restore factory settings and VOILA!!!
100% full network.

I' sorry for my english.I'd like to help you and i hope i will make my self understud :
your problem with the signal in regular where i work(phone service with closed door) after you write the flash(full flash) the phone hove to be recalculated you have to instal a dos aplication named nk_calc by dejan
it'a litle bit hard to configurated to work but after that I guarantee that your phone will be as new. if you don't succed write me and i Try to be able to write you back ASAP. Good Luck My e-mail is [email protected]

Ok, I've tried the NK_Calc but the program just Hangs when I hit any of the PF keys.
