Hellou!

I replaced eeprom with virgin eeprom after which I got IMEI 656565.. etc.. as original and ??????..??4 as current. I own the phone and also it's IMEI is legal. I just happend to be lucky (stupid) enough to kill it thru Transfer user data (see http://nokiafree.org/forums/t67/h/s.html).

The phone boots without any problems it just doesnt work in any network (well, gosh, really? With IMEI like that? :D )

Is there any way I can change IMEI back to original (written on the case)? Do I need to modify virgin eeprom and switch it again?

Tnxs in advance for replies

Tnxs in advance for repliesHave you tried using nokia tool by rolis v1.8 or noktool by phoenix. I personally use rolis and has always worked for me when I get a phone and it shows the number has been changed from original.
hope this is helpful :D

Hi,

Odd, while in theory U were NOT able to put a virgin eeprom?

A 3210 has no eeprom in a flash that can be flashed, it is a seperate chip.

All U have to try and fix is these mbus cable tools like noktool etc.

To NokDoc and FU_Too:
I made it! :) I used rolis 4.79, used my IMEI and it changed it. Phone already works :)

I'm so happy :) (sorry for all the smilies..)

Basicly it was my stupidity (remember the fish experiment?).. I used rolis on corrupted eeprom and because it didnt work I didnt expect it to work on virgin eeprom either. But it worked! It shows that original and current imei is different but IT DOES WORK :) *yeepeeeee!*

NokDoc: virgin eeprom - i removed eeprom and replaced it with new eeprom that had virgin content burnt in.

Thanks for your replies, time and patience. Today, I'm HAPPY!

(sorry for screaming too :-) )
