Download Ringtones/games/appz using iR?

Hai guys! I just bought samsung E710 last few weeks.But until now,it still like new phones..i mean i cannot download anything into my phone.Since in my country the gprs still not yet available (coming soon i guess)..so im wondering wheather i can download some ringtones,appz or games by using iR..can i? i've been looking for the data cable too, but still not yet available in my country.is there any software i need so that i can use my iR? i've try to send some pic through my E710 using my nokia 6600 phone as well as my 3650, but i wont work either..can any one help me pls.. :sad: :-?
