add more ringtones N33xx

Anyone here give the explainations on how to edit/add more ringtones in nokia 3310 and 3330. Actually Im already do it with my 3330 but the result still fail untill now. The result on the screen will appear "Contact Service". Normally this problem can be remove after using Nokia Tool v3.03. Im using Rolis 4.78 to flash the file to the phone, PPM Manager v0.91 to add tones.

hi your best bet for adding more tones is ppmedit1.0a or higher also make sure your flash file is just your mcu+ppm then once youve changed your tones just flash bcak to your phone and recalc your faid

could u tell me please.. where can i get ppmedit1.0a software & how to download mcu+ppm only from my phone, using what software. Im really appreciate it if could assist me...

right for ppmedit search the forums and to make a backup of your mcu+ppm you need a flasher cable and your best software to use is rolis4.78(build6) and your start address is always 200000.
for your 3330 if its a v4.30 or a v4.50 you need to downgrade to a earlier version coz the checksum cannot be recalculated. to make you backup of your 3330`s mcu+ppm you need to read from 00200000 to 00550000 and if your 3310 has v5.03 or v5.13 you need to either downgrade to a v4.xx or upgrade to v5.47 or v5.57 for your 3310`s mcu+ppm read from 00200000 to 003D0000 once you made your cahnges with ppmedit1.0a save the file the reflash back to the phone and update your faid with eeprom tools or nokia tool and voila you should now have changed you tones:D
