Unlock Problems 8210

hi guys.

i tryed to unlock my brother's Nokia 8210 with the calculator...
it says... SIM is not restricted... what does that mean? (i'm dutch)

Hi,

It means there is or was no lock.

So also no need for unlocking it.

why does he say then that there is no SIM-card in the phone?

do i maybe have to clean him or what?

i've got the phone working..
i've opened it and a contact seemed to be broken... so i repaired it.. the phone works now :)

I try to unlock my 8290 with calculator, it have 2 code to unlock, but after i finish the first code, it's say SIM not restricted. And i try the second code it's say code error??? I put the other sim from other provider it say sim not accepted. Somebody no what happen? Please help!!!!

Are you sure you have the right network code?

It needs to be set to the network that the phone is currently locked to, NOT the network you want it to work on. If you don't know the network then you need a cable to read it from the phone!

Hi Dave,

Yes, it's right network code. I use the code of network when i bought the phone. Everything correct but the phone look like still lock. Do you have any idea?

i have an 8210 and the programs i use on ly have lock 1 and 2 codes, but the sim lock is activated can someone help me fix this
