Please can any one help me to unlock my 7600....It is from 3 and the serial no is <Removed>, i will be more then happy if someone can help me.....thanks



p.s. if i type them wrong so many times and it says i can't unlock it anyone by code, what shall i do?

3 network is on there and this is a type 7 phone, you will need code 7 to unlock it,,

Hi follwed the above,got the code and tried it but got 'code error'. I've unlock other phones b4 so i do have a rough idea of how to do it,but can't seem to unlock my nokia 7600.Please please help/suggest anything?????

Errm Don't know that code is valid try it using the V2 box serial. Remember that you only have 5 tries to unlock your phone after that you will need a flash box to unlock it.

same here.....gives error message....ultimate did unlock my 7600 abt 2/3 months ago but today it gave error message on a new one. Maybe they changed the codes at 3 or at nokia.

To unlock the latest release of these phones on 3UK:

Using Crux 2.3

Select 7600 (NMM-3)
Select United Kingdom
Select Hutchinson 3G (3)
ASIC should already show ASIC 7
Now in the Box Type choose ASIC 6 then check 32821 shows in the serial box.

Click Calculate and enter codes.

Job done!

yeh i have the same problem but mine doesnt say restriction cannot be lifted, ive tried 4 times i fink ive got my last try left, can some1 generate a code that will defo work please

I fink after u have tried 5 times and it doesnt work u will have to go to a shop and do it because the codes wont work on it anymore

the online one - maybe not.. but using the same algorythm like all calcs.

I used the calc, typed the codes correctly and still got it locked out.

Not sure what to do now.

Hope i can help you.
Firstly make sure you fill in all the fields and make sure you type the information correctly.
Also:Change to: asic 7, code 7, griffin(new) and box serial as 32779, thats what i did and it works perfectly.
Also: How many time have you tried typing in codes to unlock your 7600?

I have tried numerous times to unlock my Nokia 7600 (definately more than 5) and still unable to unlock it. So what is the next step for me? Just in case there are some pros out there, my IMEI no. is 351547003144842, on 3 network, in the UK
Also, for those in the UK, could l also get some advice regarding network? I heard that the O2 offers free gprs internet access. Can I use the internet access on my laptop via my mobile? I'm actually quite confused regarding the O2 packages and they (the call centers) are confused as well :S so if anyone out there knows anything about this, please advice! But first, I need to get my phone unlocked first!

Are you trying to unlock it via code?
If so, no wonder you cannot unlock it, your 5 tries are up.
You can only unlock your mobile phone using a cable solution, this can cost around £10.

Ok, I actually have 2 of them and I think I have typed in about 3 codes for the other phone. Is there any advice as to what settings to put in the calculator to ensure that it will work? Also, each setting gives 7 codes. Is it a matter of 5/7 possiblity that I can unlock the phone? Please advice!

Also for my other phone (the one that has used up all the 5 chances), where do I get the cable to unlock the phone? It actually comes with a cable that connects it to the PC, is that the one? Any references on where to find out more?

you need to change the box serial from the default for theis phone to 32779 to get the correct code, then use code 7

The USB cable you get with the phone is no good, you need a prodigy/neelix box or something similar, which are not cheap !!

better to find a local shop that can do it direct..

I'm actually based in manchester, but I do travel to london sometimes. I guess if don't get my phone unlocked by the time I go to london next, I might need your contact! By the way, how much do you think it would cost to unlock the phone?

Finally unlocked my "other" 7600.
Now, for the one that has been input the code for more than 5 attempts, I was thinking of getting a refund for it and get a new one to unlock... hmm don't know what is the stock situation in CPW now... Or perhaps a better option is to pay someone to do it...
