6100 probs

i was given a faulty 6100 which wont ring,cant hear anyone but they can hear me,presuming its the speaker,is it hard to replace?,the phone was dropped i think,also tried using the code generator to remove the restriction lock an im getting the message"wrong restriction level"im new to this and any help would be appreciated.

Once, my phone got slightly wet… and the polyphonic ringtone speaker didn't work for about 4 or 5 days. Took me a couple of days to notice, but with a bit of case removal, pressing the phone tightly together, and putting the battery/case back in, it seems to work now… so :-?
