I have recently changed my T100 cable to an E700 (or at least I thought so).
I followed that diagram which is with this post, but to no avail!

If any one else has had any luck, could you post and tell me how! it is doing my nut in!

1. The phone also still thinks it is charging when I plug the cable in> is this right? and I have had no look with Easy studio.

Many thanks

if your cable has pcb number PCB093LBE then follow the diagrams,

cut cable numbers 1,2 and 8

short out pins 3 and 4, and 10 and 11

solder a 47Kohm resistor from compnent labled U2 ( five legged creature )

to the corner of DL switch ( as shown ) this is 100% tested, these images were taken off another forum and have not been altered in anyway whatsoever, you can use any 47Kohm resistor, for obvious reasons some people may not be able to solder a small resistor like shown, it is quite allright to use a large resistor taken out of an old radio/TV, just as long the resistance value is the same ( 47 Kohm )

@insaan plz help me out here ...

i got today samsung datacable pcb093lbe .. but the insides is different it says sgh-q300 ....i have the diagrams for this cable but could u explain in full what exactly needs to be done ...it looks alot harder to do than the other cable ppl have been modding and step by step instructions would be great ...dont really understand what to do with pins 1 , 2 + 8 ..and not quite sure about the resistor (totally a n00b when it comes to electronics)

**OR IF ANYONE CAN SELL ME A MODDED CABLE OR ORIGINAL S500 CABLE I'LL PAY UPTO £25 FOR IT!!**

thanks

ok, this is even easier than the one i originally posted, if you look at picture xx.gif a wire has been soldered to pin 1 of the large connector, also pins 3-4 and 11-12 have both been shorted out ( connected to each other )
On the wire connected to pin 1 solder a 47Kohm resistor, the picture shows 470 Kohm but i believe this is wrong, so use a 47 Kohm resistor

On the smaller connector cut wires number 1,2 and 8.

now to move onto the next picture labeled datakabel2, you will have a wire with a resistor on it, all you have to do it connect this wire to the chip labelled U2, connect this to the pin nearest to where it says R2 :D
