Apols for misreading the instruction on the Forum re unlocking requests:(

As this appears to be a new thread for unlocking ONLY... could I, as a newbie, ask that someone with knowledge post a simple instruction on:
a) which software is best to use along with a cable to read required fields...
b) Which fields are required to generate an unlocking code and how it is input.

I have obtained a cable for my Sagem MyX-5 but have not been able to locate Sagem Service software 2.5. I also have Sagemdoc but it seems only to be for series 9xx phones and not for Myx-5.....

I hope this is a constructive sugestion and I appreciate all the help you guys offer to guys like myself - thanks.

I have a Nokia 7250i, bought from a guy. The phone is SIM unlocked, and works fine for almost everything, except the GPRS. When I try to set a new set of GPRS settings to the phone (obtained over the air from my network operator), it says:

"Settings memory full"
"All settings are locked. Discard settings?"

There is no other way or function for me to get to the GPRS edit menu either.

I'd love to know how can I set the GPRS, MMS settings. :???: :???: :???:

we can't calculate codes for these phones, it's not possiable. the only methode for unlocking these phones is by sending it to poland, many people there can unlock this phone with soft, which is not for sale at the moment. but should be very soon though.

Field 5709 must be 4 bytes(8 Digits)
You must use code reader.

Hi, I am new to phone unlocking and I have still some questions after reading trough a considerable number of previous posts:

1. Is it possible to unlock all sagem myx-2 phones without making any physical modifications to it, or may some phones have some of the required fields protected?

2. Is it possible to make your own primitve datacable by attaching some threds between the phone and serial port? Does anyone have a drawing on how to make the connections?

3. What software do I need and where could I get it? Will it also calculate the unlocking codes?

I would be very grateful if any of you guys would take a little of your time to help me get started. Maybe you also have a link to some tutorial on the subject.

A Data cable conects your phone and PC..... useful for putting wallpapers/ringtones etc on your phone and taking photo's off your phone.


You'll find loads of places on the net selling them-depending on where you are...

First this is Sagem Section... not nokia.
Second you can ONLY get the puk code direct from the provider.

I am new to this forum. I unlocked an old nokia succefully 1-2 years ago.
I like it, and because the companys are having problems with the much much cheaper other phone companys (or their own cheap companys) that are finally here, they throw there old handys for very cheap prices on the market. For example: MYV5 from SAGEM, it is not unlockable, but anyway, the sell it for under 10 Euros, with 12,50 Euros telephone credit.

It is all a last try to have people who telephone expensive...
