7210 - can anyone in the Midlands UK help!?

Hi people,

I know the moral implications with this one so spare me any lecture but....

I have a Nokia 7210 - O2 network with a banned/blocked/barred IMEI number.

I live in the Derby (midlands) UK, anyone know where I can get the IMEI changed? Preferably locally since it's hard to trust anyone when just sending out the phone.

I'm willing to pay for someone to do this since I guess it would be cheaper than buying a new phone (money is tight :sad: ).

Or if anyone wants to buy/swap this phone so I can get another - It's killin me not having a phone at the moment!

If you can help me in any way, please let me know.

the imei number on this phone cannot just be changed, this is because the imei is stored on a ONE TIME PROGRAMMBLE UEM chip,, to get the phone to work again, this UEM needs to be changed, and there arent many people doing this at the moment because it requires some serious peices of kit,

I am aware that the UEM needs to be changed. But I'm also aware that there are people who are able to do this..I'm just looking for one of them people!

It probably does cost £3000 to buy the hardware to do this but I reckon it would be quite a good earner and would pay itself off quite quickly judging from the amount of posts similar to my own.

I guess if nobody can do this for me then I'll end up selling the phone abroad and using the money to buy myself a phone...

How much can I get for a 2nd hand 7210 abroad?

i dont have a 7210 uem but i am selling my 7250, as soon as i can get my e710 imei changed. i live in derby aswell email me if your interested.
