Just a few questions if someone doesn't mind answering them please.

I've seen posts about MMC and SD cards, which is the best to buy for a N-Gage? Or does only MMC work?

If I was to buy say a 256mb card, then would I be able to install all of my "backup" games on it? Or is it restricted to one game per card?

From what I've read card readers appear to be the best option for transfering data as well, what would be the best option or the cheapest option that would work on Win 2000 and Win XP?

Sorry to mither with the questions and to sound like a newbie, but would appreciate it if anyone can help out.

Thanks :)

As what i've heard, only MMC's work on the N-Gage...

Yes, you can copy all of your N-Gage games on one MMC... (as long as it fits... ;))

I think the cheapest option would be using the usb cable (already included in the box) with your N-Gage...
(coz, when you plug your N-Gage tru usb, windows xp detects your N-Gage as a removable drive...)

1) Only MMC work. SD cards have a different dimension and they also have different outputs.

2) Yes, you would be able to install all of the games at once.

3) And yeah, as Rhia said, seeings as though the N-Gage comes with a USB cable, you might as well take advantage of that.

Thanks a lot for the reply Rhai :)

One last question then seeing as though you've answered everything so well, if I buy a new MMC then do I need to format it first on the N-Gage before putting games and that on it? If so then how?

And how will I put games on that will need copying to "\SYSTEM\APPS\" ?

I understand with *.blz games that they just need installing on the root of the MMC and then installed using the blzinstaller which is fine.

Cheers

Yup! formatting the MMC ensures that the MMC functions well, as well as making sure that the MMC was empty... (the MMC may be formatted in the menu -> tools-> memory -> options -> format MMC) It's just like formatting your MMC in your 3650!!!

If your'e familiar with the windows explorer then, you can have no troubles at all when you're installing the games manually in the MMC. (just drag and drop the files...) Aint it easy??? AND IT'S FASTER THAN IR OR BLUETOOTH!!!

In installing *.sis files, just drop the files in the root of your MMC and the Application Manager will detect it all...

As what tzeonn said, you can also rely on his manual below his siggy...

Cheers!!!
