These can now be unlocked using the Griffin logger

Use t191 cable with max 232 interface (black box in cable)
GX30 usb cable, cut usb cable and short pins 8-10 in connector then


If you look at max 232 interface in t191 cable. Disconnect the t191 head side and turn the cable so that the serial connnector side is to your left. There should be 6 solder points either side of the chip, the left hand side still being connected. Numbers used are top to bottom of max 232 board. connect right hand side 6 (bottom) to ground on GX30 connector (pin 1) connect right hand side 2 to tx on gx30 connector (pin 3) and then connect right hand side 3 to rx on the gx30 connector (pin 2). Finally for internal power connect the 10k resistor across left hand side 5 to right hand side 2 (same as tx)

We have made 7 of these tested working today. If the phone powers on when you try to unlock tx and rx are the wrong way round and if the handset doesn't read check that power is going to pin 2 right hand side
