6610 Screen Fading

HI there

It is my 1st time on this forum as spotted it yesterday.

I have just bought a Nokia 6610 from my Brother in Law as an upgrade from my 3310 and it is working great except for one small problem. Here goes:

I put it on a charge and fully charged it last night and took it off the charge when finished. I left it on all night and when i got up this morning and scrolled through the menu's the light seems to fade for a couple of seconds then comes back up. It does this for a while until after about 30 mins or so it seems ok and is fine for the rest of the day.

at the moment it seems to be doing it if it is left not used for a while (while switched on).

Any advice..

The only trouble i had with my 7210 was flickering lights, all i did was gave all the screws under fascia another 1/4 - 1/2 a turn tighter and it never did it again! Worth a try mate! :-P

hi. on the subject of 6610 lights. i have a prob with mine.
i used the program nokia fbus by maestro to reset my phone's security code to default but it also took of the fading lights when they turn off. now it just switches off without the fading effect.
does anyone know how to put this back on or a program which can do this?

i think is the software problem. u can go to upgrade the software. .
