UK Internet Charges

Apoliges if this is the wrong forum but it seemed like a good place to put it as it will effect a few people.

Im currently on o2 and im thinking about getting a 6600 but i want to know how expensive the internet is for pay and go sims (or pay and go on any other UK networks) I know o2 do free GPRS atm but that isnt full internet (ive tried it in my friends XDA II it doesnt work it needs different settings)

Any info/prices on how much you spend from UK people will he helpful.. cheers

full internett? um... its the same thing as the one u use on ur computer... with gprs u can go to google, altavista or this forum or anything.... just like on ur comp. what do u mean by full internet if thats not it??

I think o2 has 2 different gprs settings one for pda style phones and the other just serves basic port 80 http - using the basic ones you cant use port 21 to get to email and the likes.

If it is just the same package how much will o2 charge per mb for gprs then?
