you can use the software called "fbus by maestro", found in the downloads area (http://downloads.nokiafree.org/) under nokia dct4, with a fbus cable.
simply click reset security code, and the code wil be reset to default - 12345.
don't touch the vibration options, it can damage the phone's vibration..
this is how to do it by yourself, but you know sometimes these programs don't work, for many reasons, so decide for yourself, maybe it will be better to pay the extra 4£ to get someone to do the work for you.

Thanks for the reply, i understand that these may not work but i have alot of phones with the same connector that i dont use and it would be fun to experiment.. we all have to start somewhere
just to make sure http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3395407004&category=14417 this cable will work its not pure fbus is switching

well...i know the program is made for working with fbus, but i think that a f/mbus cable will work..
according to the price i guess it is worth trying..

Um, all this software looks really good and is like EXACTLY what I need....almost. Ya see, I have a mac. I was wondering if anyone knows any software for resetting the security code on a nokia 6800 for mac? preferably OSX but OS9 will do fine! Or will someone tell me where about in Edinburgh, Scotland ya can get it done relatively cheap, without having your entire phone reset? as I would quite like to keep my calendar stuff, notes and picture msgs!
Thanks
