My Nokia 6100 will completely shut off occasionally when I use the phone. It does this when it says I have a full battery. I've also had other battery-related problems such as having 3 battery bars... plugging it into the charger for a minute... and then it shows full bars. Additionally, sometimes when I hook the charger up to the phone... I'll come back after a couple of hours the phone will be off.

Does anyone know of anything that might help? I was thinking maybe I have a bad battery. I'm afraid that my phone is just jacked up, though. Thanks for any help.

borrow battery from a friend and test the unit, or just buy a brand new battery, I think it's the battery, it shuts off when you make a call only, right?

Yeah, I guess I'll try to buy a new one (I don't know anyone with the same phone/battery).

But yeah, it will shut off only when I'm talking on it. I was just worried it was something wrong with the phone and not the actual battery. Thanks for the help...
