How do you reheat the PA? Are you talking the about the chip on the circuit board? :-?

Power chip and PA are two different things...power chip is the thing over the sim reader...bout PA ..well no more than 300 degree celsium...and apply preasyre with twizels..

Alright Sergo, speak to me in layman's terms. I'm new at this and know only the basic info from the schematic diagrams and basic EE knowledge. If you can step by step the procedure that would be great. I tried the backup battery restart procedure with not luck. What's next?

Here is the story. The phone just died. The ironic part is my cousin who owns the exact phone has the exact problem, the phone just died. I pulled the backup battery, charged the battery and followed all of the advice here, but nothing worked. Any advice?
Thanks

Chuck

Do U have any equipment for hardware repair...I mean SMD rework station...
If not Its better to find a cable and try flash first..
