View Full Version : Operator Logo removal
Hello all,
as you can see its my first post,
i have NOKIA 6100.
my question is how can i remove my operator logo, it is written in the middle of the screen and hiding the wallpaper, its annoying.
(the operator name, "cellcom" is written twice)
thanks,
Roi.
Edit
-----
i have tried the links on the following post: http://nokiafree.org/forums/t56475/s.html
but i didnt succeed in downloading the operator logo,
on this-->http://www.encodinginfo.org.uk/nokia/blank.nol
when i entered the link the phone downloaded it as a picture, and not as an operator logo.
i had managed to enter jonny after a while.
i have just entered here ->http://www.jhonny.org/wap
and typed 1
the logo is looking better now ;)
bye.

Hi,
I have my own wap site at
http://tagtag.com/z4kir
Ages ago I put on the Blank logo link on it (front page)
It still is the http://encodinginfo.org.uk/nokiawap/blank.nol link, I got a new Nokia 6230 last week and went onto my wap site to put it on, on clicking the link the wap page was redirected to another site and another link present, on clicking on it I received the blank logo just fine and still FREE!
There is an alternative to recieving a blank logo without using wap in the UK only, but it will cost you the price of one txt message (or FREE if u have free txts).
Go to: http://www.free-ringtones-free-logos.com/
It is part of the Cardboardfish network, on the left on the above page click on the BLACK logo pic (it is infact the blank one), basically you have to send them a txt message to a normal 07********* mobile number with a unique code and then they send it you it. Can also be sent to another number aswell and not just yours.
Hope that helps!

I have a Nokia 3200. It is from att wireless in the US. I used the unlock code to unlock the sim card. I got a message saying the phone is now unlocked. However, it will not read my pay as you go Sim card in the UK fro o2. It just won't recognize the signal. When I put the o2 sim card in my friends phone it recognizes the o2 account info and also the o2 signal.
what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Chris
