I was very keen on buying an MMC reader as I'm told it's the most efficient way to transfer large files such as movies to a phone's MMC card. However, I notice that some MMC readers cann only read upto 128mb MMC cards. Does anybody know of any readers that can read 256mb MMCs??
Thanks.

If you visit the link below to the PQI website you will see that their multi-slot MMC readers are very much limited. Strange that they can create 1gb+ MMC cards but can't seem to make a multi-reader that can read a 256mb MMC.
Thanks.

I use a Lexar Media JumpDrive Trio to read my Kingmax 512Mb MMC without any trouble.

Info can be had here: http://www.lexar.com/dynamic-frameset_jd.html?http://www.lexarmedia.com/jumpdrive/jd_trio.html

I purchased this reader at http://www.newegg.com

In Australia, we get a free Belkin MMC card reader free with every 6600 purchased. That reads my Twinnmos 256Mb MMC fine....

If a company creates a 16, 32, 64, 128 and 256MB MMC Card, then those capacities must be compatible with most or all of the MMC-slot-devices

If a company decided to create a MMC Card Reader/Writer, it must support all MMC Card capacities that have already been released

If a company decides to create a 512MB and 1024MB MMC Card, they must remember that it should be compatible with nearly ever MMC-slot-device and can still be read by the original MMC Card Readers/Writers

Know what I mean? What I don't get, are those "Reduced Size MMC Cards"

Aren't they just a newer version of MMC which are physically smaller?

Well, when looking in the back of my 3650, it does take up a fair bit of space, and seeing as the 7610 is the same size as a Sony Ericsson t68, they need to cut down somwhere. Also, from what i have seen, the prices don't seem too bad either.
