Well yeah I do realize what ROM is, but commy has a Z drive where many of your files are store for initial startup which also include ringtone files. So I was wondering if there was a way to write into that drive.

Might be editable if u can edit the commy flash memory, which is currently not avaliable.

Btw u can store ringtones on your c: d: drive too...

Yeah I agree, but the problem I am facing is that my *.rng and *.mid files cannot be played. Additionally, these files are not being detected as ringtones while editing in Profiles. Any suggestions?

.mid files are unable to set as ringtone, but .rng is compatible with commy.
Did u tried the "browse" menu when u looking for ringtone at "profile" menu?

And why dont u use ringtones such as waves. It can be set for ur commy

I came across a cute little App for PC that converts midi files to wav files! Its pretty smallish. The Nsme is "Midi To Wav Converter 2.0"
