Hey people - Don't know if any of you folks have seen this code or tried it, but i have a mate Bish who owns a mobile franchise outlet, and we unlocked twelve SAMSUNG E700 phones from the orange network, using #*7337#, and you can either take it or leave it, but trust me guys it WORKS!!! :-) :-)

I have heard on the grapevine that this code **ALSO** works on the E710 and E715 handsets, but this has yet to be confirmed.

ANYhow, on the E700 from ORANGE (YUCK!!! :-( ) this code works 120%++ and that's a FACT!!

1/ Enter the code
2/ Wait - 'phone pauses a few seconds, then restarts itself - UNLOCKED!!!

Yes, it **REALLY** is THAT easy (SILLY SAMSUNG!!)

Best Regards all my fellow posters!!!

For E710, you can try this, found elsewhere.

E710 unlock

1 Type *#06# on your phone and write down your IMEI (you'll need it later)
2 Put a simcard from another provider (simcard must have something in
the phonebook, at least one contact) and power on your phone
3 At the "worng card" message type: *2767*688YOURIMEI, for
example: *2767*68835363900078569# (imei is 14 digits ignore the 3 digits
after the slash "/")
4 Your phone will reboot and then your simcard from other provider will work
--this 4 steps is for a temporary unlocking, when you power of your phone
it'll be locked again, to permanently unlock it continue to step 5--
5 After your phone has rebooted on step 4, dont press any key or do anything,
just type this: *0141# and hit the call button
6 A message will appear telling you that your phone is personalized, now
you can turn off your phone and put any simcard you want. YOUR PHONE IS
NOW UNLOCKED

Not had a chance to try it myself since haven't had on eof these fones as yet to unlock.

Alternatively, if you have the JIC dataone unlock clip, it can unlock it, just use the S100/200/300 option, but turn the phone on, "not OFF" as the Clip asks you too.

Thanks for the suggestion..BUT

Now the phone is LOCKED to MY SIM (the one i placed in the proccess!)

Before the proccess, the phone displayed "SOS CALLS ONLY"..now it displays "INSERT CORRECT SIM"....it only accepts the SIM i placed for testing!!

..And the 8 DIGIT Sim Lock code is not 000000 nor 12345678, nothing standard!

Sorry to hear that, as I also said, had not tested it myself.

Suggest you try and get someone with UST etc to try and sort your fone out, worth saving. All unlocking carries a risk to the fone.

Sorry again.

I've just tested this code on my t-mobile contract E700 and it worked on that too. I'm guessing it will work on all networks?
