well, if u wan non audio recording, but can record for unlimited, look out for philip camcorder or eti cam corder.

if u wan a 40 sec recording wif audio, get the tim camcorder.

look ard yahoo grps, aivanet.com or use irc.

Or wait for some program to come out. Which may take a while (should have been finished by now ...)

What do you a "patch"? A patch for what, may I ask? (Please clarify things for me :D )

i think it's a patch that lets you record 45 seconds instead of 9... with the standard camcorder software...

A patch, which you place into C:/System/Data?

Oh, now I know what you're saying ... but that patch has to be some kind of *.cgb file or something ...

Know what I'm saying? I could probably edit that file, but I can't find the file to edit!

no way, no patch can do anything to extend the time of video recording on symbians (cept for 7610)

but u can install 3rd party app, like tim recorder, eti, or philip camcorder. best alternatives for now.

How long do we have to wait ... is the question.

Is anyone even trying to create a program that can take Unlimited Videos with Sound?

noreturn
04-04-2004, 09:14 AM
what is it that prevents ulimited video with sound? ram? i mean, if the 7610 can do 10 minutes, surely the 6600 can do more than 45 seconds with sound. on another topic is there any way to control the volume in realone? it's really really loud.. possibly even louder than when it rings... :D

You want RealOne player to play your 3gp files louder? Is that your question?

And about the video recorder, that's what I'm thinking. Seems so simple. Just give me some developer tools and the knowledge and I'd start. Make some money out of ppl lol :-P but yea, I'd make it so that you can select "Unlimited" if you select Memory Card ...

heck no.. trying to quieten it down.. it's so friggin loud... the best i can do is mute it... i was saying that at the moment, it plays clips louder than when it rings...

Oh, I getcha now. And yea, somehow the polyphonics dont ring as loud. WHen I had the N-Gage, the polyphonics and MP3 were LOUD! ANd i mean loud, quality polyphonics that were equal to the loudness of my mum's 3310

Well, I'm puzzled ... can't help you with that. Sry bout that

If nokia still don't come out a add on video program for unlimited video recording for n6600 then i will consider switchng to Nokia 6230 which can record up to 4mins. Plus it has all the thing which which we wish for like MP3 with stereo,radio,4mins video recording(better than 40 seconds TIM) except no symbian. AHHH F**K! It's better to owe both if u have the money!

It is a big hp and has all the same functions as nokia 6600 except no stereo and short video recording and not release yet. By the way,my 256 mmc card cannot use in 7610!(waste money to buy another one)Still can consider.

Oh, so if i do get the 7610 ... i can't even use the 256MB MMC Card in my 6600? Oh crap ... is that what they meant by "Reduced Size" ...

DAMNIT

Well, not really "DAMNIT" because it just emphasizes my emotions to stick to my 6600 ;)

i'm happy. verrrrry happy with the 6600... 9 seconds seems a bit short, but i really don't care.. i carry my camcorder every where i go anyways.. but a shatload of photos is more than enough for me... owning 2 phones is dumb... twice the bills.. i'll stick with as close to perfect as they come.. now.. 6600!! all hail...

Oh, I just remembered. I will definitely not buy the 7610. Cause I know for sure that Nokia will release some bullshit phone like 7610i or 7620. If I wanted to, then I'll buy it. Or even better, I'll stick with my 6600

Yea. True that. Hate it how technology seems to go 'step by step' to the company's advantage as it is profitable ...

You don't like your N-Gage anymore? :-?

well, its troublesome sms-ing on my 3650, and both ngage and 3650 are big and bulky, plus i dun use the functions much, so im using a 8310 now. 3650 and ngage are for gaming purposes now, lol.

nk_au
08-04-2004, 08:27 AM
I see, but if you're going to have the 3650 and N-Gage for gaming purposes ... why keep the 3650? I mean, most 3650 games are compatible with the N-Gage ... and the N-Gage games are better on the N-Gage than the 3650 (am i being repetitive?)

Aren't you going to sell it? Keep the 8310 and N-Gage i'd say!
If I had the chance, I'd keep the 6600 and N-Gage ...
