working on a nokia 6250 right now. my problem is there's no more copper on the pcb to place the power switch. i tried, as a test, to make jumpers for the switch but when you press any of the keys, the unit turns off. may i ask help on where to place jumpers to have the unit always turned on. i mean no more power switch. this is my last repairing option.

thank you so much.

The top two legs of the switch are connected and the bottom two are connected, so when you press the switch you get a connection between the top and the bottom.

If you were to bridge the top and bottom legs, it would be like the switch was being pressed constantly. so when you put the battery on the phone it will switch on and when you press a button it will switch off and will not switch back on untill you remove the battery and put it back.

Hope this help you understand what you need to do.
