6600 problem,PLZ help!!!???

i was using my 6600 & i was taking a pic with the camera then after that i went to the gallery to view it & the phone doens't open the gallery & restarts itself then stayed @ the nokia screen & doesn't want to load the OS,

anyway i feel that it need to re flash the phone ,but i read about the green,*,3 formatting keys for the 6600 & i done it & it formats but nothing help after formating it stays with the nokia logo,after doing this am very afraid that the damage might be with the phone hardware & not be fixed with a flash????!!! or that normal that formatting doesn't help to fix a problem like that from the begining????

When you held Green * 3 during the startup, did you see the text "Formatting ..."? Did you see the screen being filled up with the colour black? Did it finished the formatting 100%?

If it did and still doesn't work, you have to pay a visit to the local Nokia Care Centre unfortunately ...

yes formatting appeared on the screen & the screen filled with black,then nokia logo again shows up & nothing!!!

my question is that:
Does this means the phone have bigger prbolem that flashing the firmware again or it might still be solved with flashing????

Or buy a new phone, and sell the old one (by using dodginess in the dark alleys) lol :lol:

no the format goes well,the screen was filled with black @ the end of the formatting process but then it returend to nokia logo & nothing happens,It doesn't switch of?

is the formatting must help with my problem if there's no hardware malfunctions or format only works when the phone is already working & have no problems????

formatting ur fone shld make ur fone back to the original state it was, when u 1st bought it.

try again, den rem to format mmc too.

another way, take out ur mmc, see if ur fone works.

so, u are saying from the start, ur fone cant load?

then u might need to flash it, since the fone wun load.

if ur fone still loads, try *#7370# too.

i went to a mobile fixing center & they flashed the software again to it but nothing happens it stays with the nokia logo on the screen :-x ,so am afraid it's a hardware problem,i think i must go to nokia service center which will take lots of money for repairing & am very very afraid that it can't be repaierd at all :-o

impossible: when they flash it, it shld work again.

if ur fone is under warr, u can flash it for free. if flashing wun work, juz ask them to replace a new set for u.

The problem is that it have no warranty,
the mobile fix center it went too to fash the phone says he tired & the phone accepted the software but nothing fixed,could he making something wrong???

Also the phone doesn't want to recharge,i don't know why??is this cause of the problem or it's something in the hardware???

I went to another serivce center today before going to nokia service center,& he said to me he is almost sure that there's no hardware problem specially that the phone is only 1 month old & never fall to ground or hit anything,

He also tell me that the griffen boxs they use for flashing is small cheap type & it's not as strong or expensive as the one's on Nokia service centers(could this be true??is there diff types of griffen boxes??),so finally i must take the phone to nokia.

i'd say since it doesn't even charge, that it's hardware thing.. (i don't really know, i'm just assuming) but for sure that whole deal with one month is bull.. in fact, it is most likely that things will have a hw failure within the first three months than at a later time...

I went to nokia service center & they flashed the phone but it doesn't work & they said it's a hardware problem :sad: :sad: :sad:

i don't know if they can fix it or not & how much money it's gonna cost me to be fixed!!!!!!i must wait 3 days or more to know if they gonna fix it!!!

am afraid no,my phone doesn't have a warranty
i went to Nokia again today & they tell me the problem maybe from something called Logic Circuits that may be damaged & prevent the software from booting & if this the problem it will be solved.I really wish so.
