Nokia 7250i Changing wallpaper problem??Help

Hi i've got a Nokia 7250i and it was working fine on the first day i got it, but i charged it overnight and it has started doing weird things mainly when i go to the gallery to change wallpaper and select a wallpaper and make a change the phone will momenterily go blank and stay that way(with only the battery bar down the right hand side) then it will return to normal with the previous wallpaper......................this did not used to happen and only started happening this morning?

Could anyone please help me with this problem?

I found that when I had a photo or large sized picture as a wallpaper my 7250i had the same problem. when I went into settings > display settings > wallpaper I could change the picture no problem. It just seems to be when i'm changing a big pic or photo by going through gallery I have a prob with phone switching off, small pics seem to change ok.

friends if u r having a problem of the screen going blank when trying to select a photo as a wallpaper from the gallery :eek: don't worry just try these steps

1. go to gallery
2. select the already existing photo as a wall paper first
3. then go to the new photo u want and select it as wall paper. :wink: :D

i had a similar problem which is ok now.

Yes its a software fault,mine does it and a few other people i know,if it bugs you,your best bet is to take it to your nearest nokia service centre,they should upgrade it for free. :)

There's an even easier way tho just go into settings, display settings and then wallpaper and you can change it, its just one of those things in life!
