Hi guys,

Is it possible that (for example) an Ngage vibrates while playing a game?
Rally Pro Contest asks for Vibrate On/Off in the options... but when i turn it on my ngage doesnt vibrate...
Can it vibrate in TonyHawk (or other games)?

Thanx... Sjorsw

On an N-Gage? I remember playing a Java game, but I forgot the name ... and it vibrates ...

But about the N-Gage games like Rayman 3 and Sonic ... no idea.

PS: Hasn't this been posted somewhere else recently?

There isn't any vibrating in N-Gage games.

I didn't say N-Gage Game, I said Java Game (or was it SIS?)

thanx guys, your posts were really helpfull (joke ;))

I wonder why Nokia disabled the vibration in games (exept 4 the batterylifetime, that is not their cup of tea... is it?).

Why can't we just choose for ourself? something like an option: Game Vibrate On/Off. Would be cool!

It would be cool if Sonic had some rumble in it, and Red Faction had some vibrating "ouch-ness" when being shot

Sounds pretty cool. And yea, sjorsw has a good idea. Give the users the ability to enable or disable to their liking

Oh well, I don't really care about the vibration that much. It's not really important.

Most comfortable vibration I have ever experienced is from a 6600. It vibrates, but not as loud as some other phones (no beeps, just vibration). Perfect for school, as I don't want a vibrating to be quite distinctive in class.

Just have to remember to have "Silent" on ... lol

It's strange though, throughout the junior years of high school, the teachers all had a cry if you possessed a mobile phone at school, but in my senior years, the teachers don't care for some reason.

Well, must be difference to my case. I'm in Brisbane Grammar School. And they care if they see a mobile phone during class. They'll confiscate it. If it rings, they'll confiscate it and turn it to the Deputy Headmaster. You'll need to fill out a form signed by your parents, then given to the Deputy Headmaster to get your phone back. Next time that happens, you have to wait 6 months to get it back again.

So I'd rather have it on Silent ... don't you? ;)

Well if I attended your school then... Yes. Yes I would.

Haha ... LOL

But that was in Grades 8, 9 and 10

As I am in Grade 11 now, classified as Senior High ... the teachers release the strictness a little. But I better not abuse the power ...

It's funny how that works.

I dont get it either. I have this Nokia 7250 Dummy phone.

I put it on my phone - he doesn't realize
I put it next to my ear - he didn't notice
I pretend to take a photo of my mate next to me - he's too busy writing

I don't know if he cares, or he didn't notice. Anywayz ... I'll try again sometime in Term 2

He doesn't sound like the most witty teacher around, MOST, (not all, there is one particularly slow one), of my teachers always know whats going on.

Come to think of it ... I think he's in his 50s.

I'll try it out on a female teacher ... who isn't old ...

Well... age shouldn't have that much to do with it. Maybe he just doesn't care?

If I was in a lecture, I'd have my phone on Meeting.

If I was in school, I'd have my phone on Silent

If I was at a party, I'd have the phone on Outdoor

In general, I'd use General (duh!)

I don't know when I should use Pager though ...

Do you carry around 3 different phones?

nk_au

I don't think he carries three phones everywhere he goes, but rather a different phone at a time depending on event or place

tzeonn? is that rite?

gophermaster

Yeah probably. I only have one phone that I carry around.

Let me guess, the N-Gage is a bit bulky?

My N-Gage fit nicely into my school uniform's pockets. But I hate it when I sweat ... makes the N-Gage cover sweaty too

Thank god, its nearly winter now. We're changing to Winter uniform ... the suit coat ... and I can put my 6600 in the inner pocket! Woot :-P

My school pant pockets lack friction, so it just slides out when I sit down, I'm always checking my pockets to see if it's still there.
