Hi,
Please can anyone help me.My phone is tied into Orange UK.

IMEI:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
MCC-MNC: 23433 (Range UK)
Phone model: 8310e

I have entered the IMEI on the generator and this is what it generated!

"To unlock your phone enter the following codes (most of cases you only need to enter yellow codes):
If your phone is from USA, Austria, France, Hungary, Netherlands, Mexico, Portugal or Spain please use code 1 in the list below then code 7 if that does not work.
For Vodafone Sweden enter code 4 then code 1

I entered the first code(with orange sim card in) into the phone which was not accepted. I then attempted with the Second code(with Orange sim card in),which told me something like "restriction off".I then placed a vodafone sim card in only to find out it was still restricted.

So...I went through the procedure for removing the restriction..

After entering the code the phone happily reports that the phone was not restricted...then proceeds to ask me for my phone pin code....which, although I can actually key the number in, will not be accepted by the phon. By this I mean that after pressing OK...nothing occurs.


WHat do I do??

Is there any reason why my IMEI number was edited not showing the number.What is wrong with showing the number??Also, do you know what I am supposed to do now to getr my phone unlocked.I'm a bit confused!

IMEI is a personal stuf..dont post all over the world..
About Ur problem...Hum its better to find a service shop where they have Griffin box and to unlock it for U..I hope it will be pretty cheap..Here in Bulgaria its bout 7-8 EUR..

I guess U need a box to fix it..Griffin may be..When I unlocked an 8310 with codes despite getting "restriction lifted" on code 1 I couldnt use alternative sim until I entered code 7 as well. Just a thought :)
