hi i was wondering could anyone help me. i got a phone from my mate in the republic of ireland but it is restricted for use in the north of ireland which is u.k territory. i have tried all the codes but it just keeps saying cannot undo restriction. what other way can i go about unlocking this phone as i dont know which network it is restricted to but have tried all the codes for each network.where do i get one of these data cables from. thanx

you have only five tries to unlock the phone. If you input the wrong code more than five times, then the phone has to be unlocked via cable...so, if you didn't try mor ethan five times with the wrong code, download the unique sw calculator, is the best around right now, enter your imei, the network code, and from the seven codes, try the last one.
