6220 unlocking help

Hi, Ive recently gone onto contract with O2 (UK operator) and got the new 6220 handset - great little phone and i'm more than happy with it, the trouble is, so is my wife - but she is a die-hard 'pay as you go' fan and i cant afford £170 + for a handset for her.

So as my insurance covers me for loss i was thinking of reporting mine lost but that will lead to it being blocked :( soooo is there anyway i can get around this?

i havent dont any of the above yet, and i apologise in advance for asking naughty questions if this is a forbidden subject on here.
