does it happen once on the start up, or all the time when the fone is running?
if its onli start up, tink it shld not b a prob. well, u can format ur fone and mmc to clear tt error if u want, but its troublesome. or u can try deleting a file called system.ini.

will that be a major problem? i mean if i delete the system ini will this cause serious problems that would lead to the troublesome format? cause this is something i would like to avoid

if tt error onli happens once on start up, no more when u r using the fone, i'd ignore it.

You could ignore it, but if that phone was mine ... I'd be stressing - i'm a perfectionist you see ...

beeing a paerfectionist myself as well, i found out that the "dirty job" was due to the space doubler. Once i unistalled it it was perfectly ok

I didn't trust Space Doubler. It was too good to be true ... does it actually double the free space though?

If space is such a big worry for you, then you should jst get a bigger MMC.
