SCHEMATIC HERE (http://nokiafree.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=12198&stc=1) Hi to all!!. Just a quick note to say that this schematic which I happened upon on this very forum, has been most successful, and as such I can endorse it fully, for use with ROLIS FLASHER 4.79, ROLIS NOKTOOL 1.8/1.9 and KNOK-PHOENIX etc.

I have a feeling it was DrBizar who released or designed this schematic - please correct me if this is wrong!.

Anyhow, for those of you who have little or no technical knowledge when it comes to electronic circuitry, I have amended the original schematic, so that the '74HC14' inverter IC, is displayed here as it looks physically, in a 14-pin-DIL package.

Please see the attachment included with this post, for the schematic.

Regards, Matt (UNLOKIA)

The Dr Bizar Scheme is built arounf the 74HC204 I think
Also his is electronic switching rather than manual switching

What SW did you use to create that drawing or was it done in a CAD prog?

Danny

Hey thanks for the compliment - I drew it in 'paint' by hand, using the old copy and paste skills ;).

I took the 25 way plug from the original diagram as you can see. Thought that BLUE was an appropriate colour, as per the old fashioned "blueprints".

I have an extensive electronics background - I gave up the keen interest in electronics for the world of computers/software. I find it WAY more challenging and exciting than sitting soldering a project for hours, only to discover that it doesn't work!!!.

I was aware of the usage of a 74HC04 IC in previous circuits, but have been reading the comments of other members of NOKIAFREE, and was advised to use the 74HC14 as a far better solution.

Many thanks. Matt (Unlokia)

Paint???
Nice work :D

The 74HC204 is a tri state hex inverting buffer ;)
Basically it allows you to switch weather the two sets of not gates are on or off.

Danny

Hi!. To all interested in this thread, here is the data sheet for the PHILIPS SEMICONDUCTORS version of the 74HC14 integrated circuit.

This is a hex (6) schmitt trigger invertor ic, used in the combined flasher/mbus cable, upon which many schematics/flasher cables, are based.

HERE IS THE DATASHEET FOR 74HC14 (http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/datasheets/74HC_HCT14_3.pdf)

Hi Unlockia, I would like to know with another component I can use instead of the 1N4148.
Regards to all.
