Forgot mmc pswd

I've had a pswd on my mmc to lock it to my phone.

prob. is I did master reset on my phone , now the phone is asking for pswd which I forgot.
plz help :-?

O Oh ... you're screwed. If you forgot the password, you can't recover it. Unless some smart genius like a hacker or something can find out for you. Otherwise ... you might have to go to some other device and format it. Place it back to ur phone, then format it again. If the MMC is password-protected, a MMC Card Reader/Writer wouldn't even detect it on your PC!

That's why I didn't even put a password on it ... I nearly forgot it one time ...

I don't think that there is much that you can do except try and remember the password. Or you might be able to brute force it.

i aint heard of a method so far tt unlocks ur mmc, try to recall, or tt mmc is screwed.

u can try holding a magnet besides it, erases memory on all other data-units, dunno bout MMC though

hey bro! search for "mmcstore" on your phone memory, I think in c:/ system. this file contain the txt file of your password of your mmc, then send it to your pc for viewing, but rename it to mmcstore.txt for viewing in NOTEPAD! YOU SHOULD SEE THE PASSWORD THERE...........

of course! coz! your phone write that simple data and only your phone have the copy! Unless you know the password!

well the file you access would be on the mmc. the password would be there.
i dont think it shud be in the C:/ drive cos if you put the mmc in another fone, it wudnt hav 1. u hav to find the pass word in the mmc.


btw how do u put a pass word on it anyway?

Press Options and select "Set Password"

Choose a password

THat's about it :D

Hey guys... it's how I recover the forgotten MMC password. Tested by me so many times. Browse the phone where MMC Password was created using any efile manager, it is usually in c:\system\ folder. Look for the MMCSTORE then send it to your PC and use notepad to open it... it's the MMC Password. I have been posting this to some forum sites.

I used fexplorer to try find out the password and it come up with:

.000000...VC.ajt

So what the hell is the password?

what if i only have the mmc and i lost the phone, i mean i already sold it. can a magnet do the trick? I have this mmc pass protected, i format it with mmc reader and put it in the original phone, but it doesn't recognized and need the password, so i buy a new one, and it works... any ideas?

Next time, read every post (including other threads) before posting a reply because this question has been answered before:

GO to the phone that had set the password on your MMC. Using FExplorer or SeleQ, locate C:/systemm/mmcstore

Copy that file via Bluetooth or Infrared to your computer, and rename it to mmcstore.txt

OPen it with Notepad, and there's your password ...

Now go to Options -> Send -> Send via Bluetooth
OR
Options -> Send -> Send via Infrared

Find your PC via Bluetooth, or align your infrared ports. And it should be connected and sent

just use seleq (or same) and copy the file to another folder in the phone and rename it to .txt and open with seleq!

no need to transfer from phone ;)

i have seleq- full but still cant find this memstore file, my memcard is locked and i dunno the password.....
is it not possible to create the file?what extention? u c i have formatted the fone, but i never had a password on it...
i formatted the fone a couple of times but since this last one...???
