problem with cygwin

i have register cygwin_c, edit cygwin.bat and dev_sh from d: to c: but when i try to run cygwin.bat i get error

"bash has caused an error in <unknown>
bash will now close

if you continue to erxperience problems
try restarting your computer"

restart but nothing...
i have os:me
where is the problem i have tried almost everything

Did you read the warning when installing MADos environment?

It says that it's supposed to work only in WinXP and Win2k...

And old threads can tell you the same

i have installed win2000 i done all instructions,edit .bat files...problem again when i try to run cygwin.bat i get

bash.exe -Application Error

the application failes to initialize properly (0xc0000005) Click OK to terminate the application

All i can advise is to start from the beginning. Download CVS update (did mine today and installed ok), donwload MADos environment again and be sure to edit all references to the right path in the .bat file

:D i had the same problem. download the cygwin package againt, but yet from doom-of-flash. search at google with the keyword "doom-of-flash mados" it will look like that www.doom-of-flash.de/mados.exe.

Yes, on my old PC it was working perfect...

Now I've downloaded Cygwin from uniquesw mirror and it doesn't work anymore :'(

Now, I'm download from doom-of-flash...
