I tried to unlock my NEC 808 using the code, but i cant seem to make it work. Ur NEC unlock software supports 808?

Well depends on you intrepetation of 'all NEC's'

The Most supported are from Solution from Spear. (all in one NEC .. but not yet the N34i but that one is not locked.. anyway haven't seen any)

Julvir has also good solution. (Redbox)

The redbox doesnt support nec e808y but dont know about Spear. I was impressed with redbox site honesty not like some of their sellers whom claim its the answer to all nec :sad:
I know there is at least one program that does it but it seems to be a bit choosey on what pc it'll work on. I think Pooley uses it as he says he'll unlock most if not all NECs :smile:

Hi, i have a Nec e616 but its a new model its Nec e616V i cant unlock it with those codes you gave in this forum, does i exist other codes for this phone who support this model?
Please answear as soon as possible, i buyed it with Tre card but if i cant unlock it i will return it back, thats why i will unlock it!

It seems its particular to which pc it works on, and you need to make your own cable unless youve bought a tried and tested one. Then there's the problem of getting information on test points like for e808y. Those with the knowledge wont give it out but prefer to sit on sidelines offering to do it for you (at a price obviously). After Millpc offered refunds to all who couldnt get it working he then disappears so no refunds. Also his support forum is now closed so I wouldnt recommend buying from there (and I think youd have trouble contacting him anyway). I'm confident it would work but because of the fingerprint code tying it to the original PC you cant try it on different PCs to try to get it working. I think Pooley could confirm that it works but that its also very tempermental which he is thankful for as its not taken away any of his business.

it is VERY volatile :-? the software crashes on a regular basis and gives errors about changing the date, scanning etc. (sometimes it just dies)
the biggest problems come from the com1 settings and irq lines, but once these issues are sorted out it works on anything p2 upwards with enough memory.

I'm surprised :-o I was under the impression it works best on p100 but as I havent been able to get it working (on p2 with 512ram win98, p3 with 512 ram winxp) then have to take your word for it as I know youve got it going (but not on first attempt) :) What size memory would you suggest? :-?

DAMN RIGHT......SCRATCHING MY HEAD FOR A WHILE OVER THIS AT FIRST.
THE P1 I TRIED WAS JUST DOG POO, use at least 64mb of mem check com 1 uses irq4 as some seem to be going for irq10.
i will sell this with TOTAL SUPPORT if people come to me with there computer and i will set it up and get it working but they must bring there pc for me to install it.
there are 4 main problems with the software and i will inform you of what you need to do to cure each one.

well the fingerprint stuffy is just arm :) ( I think 3.6 so will take longer then older versions)

Then I ask friends of mine to make version for you that you can try all computers ;) ( will need for both: InstallerNEC.exe and NECWCDMA.exe)

Also E606 and E808 testpoints are included in the soft I have..

The main problem seems to be "operator error". I would Like to thank Pooley for all the help and advice he gave me and to confirm what was said before, that besides the software and the triwing screwdriver you still need the technician (with or without the sarcasm) and I have to say my particular technician was Pooley. I can also say my first nec unlock was an e808y. :lol:

There is no code generator for e808 only the temp unlock solution for phones press feb 2004.

The only solution is direct unlocking via redbox or other software.
